A Jordanian father and son explore the immense ruins of the ancient city of Petra.

To capture this photo took a lot of effort and patience. The vantage point of this shot is the result of a grueling 60 minute walk/climb to the top of a cliff over-looking the most famous of the Petra monuments, the Treasury.

Next capturing this shot took patience. Firstly I had to wait for the sun to emerge from the clouds, and secondly I had to wait for all other tourists to get out the way. So was the hard work and patience worth the effort?
