Artemis temple
ãÚÈÏÇÑÊíãÓ
Artemis was the patron goddess of the city, and her temple is still one of the most impressive buildings left. The beautiful columns of the portico can be seen from almost any part of the ruins, through the walls of the shrine no longer stand to their full height. The temple is built on one of the highest points and dominated the whole city. |
