| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Wadi Rum is a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south west Jordan. It is the largest wadi in Jordan.
It has been inhabited by many human cultures since prehistoric times with many cultures—including the Nabateans—leaving their mark in the form of rock paintings, graffiti and temples. Currently several Bedouin tribes inhabit the area.
Wadi Rum is probably best known to Europeans because of its connection with the British officer T.E. Lawrence, who was based here during the Arab Revolt of 1917-18. |

Witaj Henryk,
That is a very interesting geological formation.
Your POV, and the colors and contrast are very good.
Best regards,
Carlos

An interesting rock formation and a very nice image of it. It looks aa though it must of been a very warm day miday adventur judging from the colors and shadow. I can imagine this must be spectacular in the mornings and evenings.
Hello Henryk,
Great arch in this image, and the background rock is rather odd without any-any vegetation on it. The texture in the rock is well defined through the centuries of erosion, The exposure is good, maybe a little lss bright.
Good note too...
