Photographer’s Note

It was a cool night that we spent in Wadi Rum. Too cold to sleep under the stars, but we were watching the sky in silence for a while before going back to the tent. Amazing calmness, nothing but the sand, stars and the air that you breathe. I couldn't decide when I liked the place more- in the daylight which uncovered the majesty of the desert and rocks, or at night, looking at the perfectly visible Milky Way. So here's a compromise - the meeting of day and night.

Hi Aleksandra,
This is a surprising and beautiful picture. I like the orange color of the sky and the presence of the moon and one only star in the sky.
I understand what you say about not being able to decide whether you prefer the desert at night or during the day. Both are so different and are so beautiful, too.

bardzo fajne klimatyczne zdjecie. Kolory sliczne. Bardzo fajna minimalistyczna ale tajemnicza kompozycja. Chcialbym widziec zdjecie noca, uwielbiam gwiazdy ktorych niestety w Seulu nie widac.

Hej Aleksandra. bardzo fantasticznja! Kolory sa bardzo piekne... toze lubie minimalism i naturalism (nie wiem po polsku). bardzo znakomity.
