eautiful rock formation along the way to Petra in Jordan. The location was chosen by the Nabatean tribe as a secure location for their temples and tombs. The Nabateans mixed Eastern and Hellenistic architecture influences carving their structures into the natural rock formations. The site is listed as UNESCO world heritage site in the Kingdom of Jordan. It is an easy site to get to with minimal hassle. The Jordanian government and UNESCO has preserved the site very well and made it visitor friendly. Continuous work seems to be undertaken to make the site even more convenient. A must visit site for world travelers alike.

Hello Arief - well composed image here, with the large canyon dwarfing these two travelers. A nice color contrast as well with her pink headscarf. The striations on the rockface create a sense of movement where there isn't one. Nicely done.
