[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Wadi Rum is often touted as being the most beautiful desert scenery in the world, and despite my limited experience and knowledge of deserts, I would have to agree.

The area is now one of Jordan's most important tourist destinations, and attracts an increasing number of foreign tourists. The influx of tourists to this once isolated area has substantially increased the financial fortunes of the Bedouin people, and it is not uncommon to see locals using mobile phones and driving expensive four-wheel drive vehicles.

The village of Wadi Rum consists of several hundred Bedouin inhabitants with their goat-hair tents and concrete houses, a school and a few shops, however most people pass right through here and straight into the magical landscape.

A beautiful picture with very nice colors and detail. Excellent sharpness. TFS. Carme.

Hi Julian,
The POV is chosen nicely here to get the bush of flowers and the natural structures in the same frame with the touch of blue sky. It seems to be the ruins of an ancient fort, but after reding your notes realised they are natural.
Regards
Avishek
