Photographer’s Note
The entrance of the Khazali Gorge in the Wadi Rum desert area.
The Wadi Rum desert is surely one of the highlights of Jordan. In a far past it must have been an area of lots of rivers, seen the canyons now present. In fact it is a large area full of wide and narrow (extreme narrow sometimes) canyons, the fruit of water and later wind erosion.
Man lived in it since ages ago and left some nice rock inscriptions. In this gorge - with water in it as it had rained a few days before - there are some intruiging examples. I should post an image soon.

It is a very nice clear shot. And I love the light and the point where it comes from. Well done.

This is a very nice photo. You were able to control the exposure very well. I like the luminosity of the sun while keeping the blue of the sky. I never been to Jordania but I have been to Australia, the the "red" interior, and I have seen similar places!See this taken in Uluru, the Kata Tjuta sometimes known as the Olgas.

Hi Marc,
excellent composition. I particularly like the light and the shadow on the sand in the foreground and the soft light falling on the tree looks great too.
Thanks for sharing
