Photographer’s Note
Petra is sometimes called 'the Rose City' because of the colour of rocks in which Petra is carved. In several places you can find a mixture of different colours creating fascinating patterns.

This is really an amazingly beautiful, unque and historical place and deserves to be one of the wonders of the ancient world. This is one of the best shots I have seen on the colored stones of Petra. TFS.

Hi Michal,
The textures and patterns on the rocks are amazing here, it almost looks like the ribs inside a human body. Wonderful light and colour and nice sharp detail.
