Le coeur doit nous saisir juste avant de faire la découverte de ce lieu.Comme lorsque l'on sort du métro devant le Colysée à Rome ou la Sagrada Familia à Barcelone.Ce doit être très impressionnant.

Your shot refresh my memories when I was walking the same path in the Siq canyon.
Nice composition with two tourists walking through narrow canyon with the temple of Khazneh in the background. Good clarity, light and colors.

Hello Yves,

Very cool shot with a good POV, the light can be difficult in between the walls of canyon. But you did great to expose the dark are and not over exposed the light. The presence of the two walking in is wonderful, those in the background can be a few less people would be butter. I can see the dust in the lower part near the ground. Great depth and good control on the light.

Dans ces gorges impressionnantes, l'exercice photographique est difficile. la composition avec les deux visiteurs est intéressante mais la zone à droite est quand même un peu trop sombre pour moi.

le geste du touriste qui a aussi un appareil photo dans l'autre main est tout à fait révélateur: c'est ici que l'on découvre la merveille après la marche dans le canyon, et de fait on entr'aperçoit le temple sculpté dans la falaise ocre qui resplendit au soleil.
Bravo pour l'exposition, qui n'a pas dû être facile avec ces contrastes prononcés.

Petra is a place I've never visited, although it's on my hit-list. This photograph reminds me why I need to go there. The colours, and of course the architecture/geology combination are unique I believe. Your shot is beautifully exposed under difficult lighting conditions, and the inclusion of the two people in the foreground give balance to the image.

I like that you captured the man's arms raised, as if to say Finally!!! Here it is!!!
fine shot with the shadow and light combinations, but i really like the tightly squeezed in feeling.
