| This shot was taken in the ancient Roman city of Jerash (in Roman times known as Gerasa), located in today's northern Jordan. The city, which in its heyday had a population of almost 20000, is well preserved and offers enough attractions for an interesting day trip from Amman. One of the most remarkable features of Jerash are columns; this one is standing in the middle of the oval forum, circled by a row of columns seen in the background. |

Michal, very nice shot. Color and detail are first rate and the composition is really fine. Also it is a nice note to explain what we are seeing. Nice capture.
