Photographer’s Note
The first things that you can see in Amman is the Citadel (or as Al-Qaser = the Palace). It is locate on Gebel al-Qalah and all around it you can see the roman walls and the Arabian ones. It dates back to the Islamic Umayyad period around 720 AD. Inside is a the museum you can see many Roman objects like small statues and sculputers.
The picture shows a view from the citadelle to the famous flag ... it is 60x30m and 128m high !!!

Hello Achim, a good point of view to emphasize all the elements so much for this citadel at the flag famous, which seems supervised the faithful one since this high point, that for control l' eye towards this prestigious building while allowing to open the field of prospect to collect L `together on a broad level which sincerely leaves the good share to this light which floods the white building of the Roman and Arab walls of the Islamic period, ..........................Bonjour Achim, un bon point de vue pour mettre tous les éléments en valeur tant pour cette citadelle au drapeau célèbre, qui semble surveillé les fidèle depuis ce point haut, que pour conduite l'œil vers ce bâtiment prestigieux en permettant d’ouvrir le champ de perspective pour capter l‘ensemble sur un plan large qui laisse la part belle à cette lumière qui inonde les bâtiment blanc des murs romains et Arabes de la période islamique, bien amicalement

Hallo Achim,

Danke!
Grüße aus dem nasskalten Siegen!

haha, very good one, Achim. No doubt that the flag is completely out of scale...or maybe it makes sense for their culture. Anyway, it's very well observed and captured. Simple and straight to the purpose.
best wishes,
ricardo
