A picture taken today in Tel Aviv I visited for one day only. To attend the funeral of a friend I lost. Having my camera all the time I couldn't resist to ask the driver to stop whan I saw this scene.

What I love about photos are the patterns. You got the pattern and you got something which destroys the pattern. Well done:)

Hi Izzet
This façade is fascinating and well worth photographing. Your pov creates good angles. I would have liked the man to hold his head differently without looking out of the frame and wearing a contrasting colour but you couldn't choose this. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.

Bonsoir, mon bon ami Izzet,

Not so many images have really arrested me this year Izzet but this one is a dream - a fantastic take on the human presence against the modern urban landscape - beautifully executed by a master of the genre.
I'm glad you couldn't resist it!
best wishes Kev

Great shot - you were right to stop and take the picture. Somehow we always know right away when we see something that would make a good picture, and I've learned to trust this instinct, like you. Great pattern in the building, and of course the man at the bottom makes it so interesting. Great work!
