Photographer’s Note
"Concentrate on your prayers by removing all worldly concerns from your heart. Prepare your heart before Hashem, purify your thoughts and think about what you are going to say. If you follow this in all your daily actions, you will not come to sin. This way everything you do will be proper, and your prayer will be pure, clear, clean, devout and acceptable to Hashem, as it is written (Tehillim 10:17), "When their heart is directed to You, listen to them."
quoted after letter of Nahmanides, Catalan rabbi, philosopher, physician, Kabbalist and biblical commentator, written to his son

Wydaje mi się, że dziś jest lepiej. Ale poetyka tego kadru nie do końca do mnie przemawia. Wiem co powiesz, ze byłaś, widziałaś i że było super. I ja w to wierzę. Może mój sceptycyzm wynika właśnie z tego, że nie byłem i nie widziałem...
Pozdrawiam.

HEllo Agnieszka,
It's very interesting to compare the two versions. The crop is certainly better in the final version, as it moves the boy on the shoulder (for me the central element) a bit left off center, which is better. Besides the person you cropped off, didn't add much to the compostion, anyway.
About the oversharpening...well, I'm still making up my mind. Both versions seems to have their plusses and minusses.
Thanks for the post.

Technically flawless this time...
Emotionally...?
It doesn't kick so strong this time, but I found it quite normal...
It is the repetition of the theme from the previous photo...
We can easily say: Yeah... I've seen this before...
Still... Quite a production... Quite an event in the world of photography...
I wish I could do anything close to this stuff...

I only just saw this one - oh the light and the rhythms of these faces and hats is superb - so many wonderful facial expressions and the child is superbly placed - on the down side the 'dynamic framing of the figures to the right (leaving the frame) works against the impact of the image for me and is a distraction - even though this is balanced a little visually by the hats bottom left - but all else is so excellent I cannot help but show the fullness of my enjoyment from it!
best wishes Kev
