Laying Tfilin at the Wailing Wall.. I believe that the instruction is to put a symbol on your head and on your arm - to indicate your connectyion with God.. In the box on top and on the bicep are scriptures.. Then there are 7 loops around the arm, and a specific way to tie the leather strap around the hand to spell "Shadai" in hebrew the name of God..

great capture and an instructived note. a classic jerusalem image. you might consider cropping a bit tighter at the bottom, because the table cloth has a strange texture (over-sharp maybe?)
