Another shot from the Dead Sea.
The piece of ground in the middle is a barrier which holds the water in an evaporation pool, like a small dam. After evaporation, a thick layer of mineral and salts is left and collected by The Dead Sea Works company.
There is a water level gauge on the corner, which shows that the level is quite low.
The other side of the lake, beyond the barrier, is the Kingdom of Jordan.

It is a painting. I like pastel colours and the graphism

Another great one - same beautiful colors and "soft" atmosphere with even better graphics. Great job!

Very nice shot Yitzhak. Softly pastel colours, fine layers with a small sharp thing above the sealevel (and his reflection). Also good frame. Well seen. Good work.

It's almost a painting, Yitzhak !
All the elements are just at the right place and the simplicity in the composition gives all its graphic impact to the image.
The kind of photo that I like so much, thank you.

Beautiful... a bit surrealistic, like a painting. The pastel colours are great.
So soft, smooth and simple. I love it!
My grandfather was an artist, this could almost be one of his painting, very similar to his style :)

Wonderful composition with pleasant pastel muted colours. I like how the brown ground barrier breaks the blue. The overall softness adds to graphism.

Another abstract painting from the Dead Sea - the few available elements are ideally arranged in the frame. Thanks for pointing out what they are, I'm not sure I would have figured them all out ;-) Great shot, Yitzhak.

Fantastic, perfectly reflected and the tones are wonderful.
It can be Mars or other planet.

These are wonderful abstract images Yitzhak with remarkably soft colors and distinctive lines that are almost impossible to interpret. My one reservation is about the frame you've chosen. I say that as person, whom we both know, sought out your advice on frames early in my time at TE. You gave me good advice that has served me well, though I've moved toward frames simpler than the ones you often use. I find this frame much too heavy for the delicacy of the image. I might have opted for a smaller more neutral frame, and if I used as wide frame, as you do, I would have used a neutral color rather that this bold blue. I did a workshop to consider one alternative. See what you think.

it is not any more photography it is painting. a very serene environment. I like much the composition horizontal bands, and these unreal colors thank you for this voyage and congratulations

Simple, sober, abstract and still powerful and impressive. The layered composition and pastel tones work really fine here, and the reflected gauge gives all its meaning to the picture. A very fine work Yitzhak, and your presentation is flawless!

Very interesting colors you're getting with this Dead Sea series Yitzhak! These blues are very, very nice. About this photo I must say it's almost surreal. Only understood well after looking at it for a while! I thought that the brown line was the horizon and that element out of the water a barrier piece!
Very tricky and excelent image. Because of the subtle reflections it plays with our minds and that's very good! :-)
