Another image from the recent snow storm up north. Here we can see the a man-made reservoir not far from Marom Golan. If you're in the area don't miss a visit to Marom Golan around meal time as the "Cowboys Restaurant" is a great place for steaks.

Just as I was taking this one we got a call that they'd moved our table reservation from 14:00 to 12:30........it saved my life!!!!

WOW!! This is beautiful. Wonderful light and contrast (I am always amazed by that when shooting snowy shots). Excellent foreground and I like the way the reservoir curves around to that taller mountain. That sky is just lovely above it all, too. I must say, I am surprised Israel got this much snow. I somehow thought they had a tropical climate. Well done!! Thanks and kindest rgeards,

This image really blows my perception of the Middle East, snow in Israel! My geographic training has told me that snow is somewhat common in the winter, but seeing it is something else. Excellent exposure, no blown highlights and there is detail in the snow. I am sure this was a magnet for holiday seekers if it lasted until the weekend. Well done!

Beautiful winter time scene capture here with the fresh clean carpet of snow contrasting wonderfully with the beautiful blue sky with its lovely cloud pattern. The distant mount makes for a lovely backdrop to this pleasant image.

Israel is not the country where I would have expected snowfall, and this makes this picture a real meteorological curiosity.
