[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spectacular sundowns above the Mediterranean Sea can be observed from Ariel (Samaria) from the late October to early June. My favorite 'desk' is a level of the Moriah Street; from this site to the Sea is about 38 km (as 'measured' in Google Earth). During some sunsets one can see the port of Ashdot, ships and port cranes; then, 'shifting right' - there are roofs of Tel Aviv's suburbs and then, Tel Aviv itself...During last November's days sundowns are very contrast prefering limited colors, but always you can recognize a goldish 'strip' indicating the Mediterranean Sea.
