[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There's a large dripstones cave close to Jerusalem. The cave is called "Avshalom cave".
It's opened all week long, but flash photography is only allowed on fridays.
This is because the light harms the dripstones and I guess that they know what they're talking about because the place is very well preserved, and the dripstones are very impressive.

this is very strange. nice use of depth of field! a note would be nice, where is this?

The flash thing I think is to do with the amount of light allowed in the cave because if you get too much light green algae grows on the formations spoiling thousands of years of chemical deposition.
the pictuere it self I like, it is well seen and coloured, the DOF is a little short though, but presume it was hand held as there is no note about a tripod so not possible to set a slightly higher f number and a longer time, so we could see the next curtain in focus.
