I'm a big sucker for a good reflection shot, and this is one of the best that I've seen for quite some time.
First of all, the composition is excellent; having the lighthouse and leaf in opposite corners of the frame gives the image good balance, and the tilt gives it a pleasing dynamism.
There's just enough distortion in the water to inject just the right amount of surrealism.

Hi Daniel. I was wondering why it looked strange at the borders when I saw the explanation in your note. Fantastic reflection with beautiful intense colors. The inclusion of the feather makes it very artistic, almost surreal. Thanks for your comments on my shot and happy New Year. Yvonne

Wow Daniel. This is quite an interesting image here. The colors are supurb, and the landscape captured in the water quite interesting. Do you have a "real" shot of the lighthouse; I'd be interesting to see what it looks like.

What a nice catch Daniel, like all the Iaffo is in that water puddle. The leaf is like a moon inthe sky, a wonderful dreamy composition. Take care, Florin

Very strange and very fanstastic. The sky reflected in the puddle has a beautifull blue and the blurred reflexion of the lighthouse gives as you mention a fantastic atmosphere, as if the surface of te water was a border between to worlds.

I comment this one cause i saw it many times in recent past, just beautiful, excellent style here, great reflexion and what makes the picture different is the leaf on top.

This is really an outstanding picture, Daniel, first, it is very well seen, I am a fan of puddle reflections, and the composition is first class, the leaf seems to be a moon shining above the lighthouse...
