Painting on Jaffa port, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

I taken a stroll on Jaffa port this morning, and saw this guy on the corner of the marina, making final touchs on his painting.
What was amazing and amusing to the people passed by, is our almost perfect resemblance: We share same figure & hight and I had a similar checkered (newer)shirt, blue-jeans, and the very-same NB shoes - just without the hat he wore, and no bicycles... also I don't paint like he doe's, and don't know his name - but yet, some asked if we are related...
I will post more scenes taken today, at this small fishing port.

Hello Ike,
The painters are a great photo subject. The composition is skillfully done. A good description. Strong light is well controlled, the colors and sharpness are excellent. Bravo.

subsequent fabulous photo. This time is a painter on the FG with a fantastic tranquil atmosphere at this picture. Seems to me, his a very busy with painting. nice the snapshot with the paintner sitting at the edge of the waterfront to paint the opposite shoreline. I like the brilliant light of the day with the details to make the scene even more effective.

looks like a splendid location, to have s stroll around and taken pictures, just like this painter does.. perhabs he has to sit there, and a photographer is a litlle nbit more in actiuon around!

I like the dominating blue here. A nice way to show this artist at work. I like the way he has kept all the tools in this small area. Nice place for painting. Good lighting, colors and sharpness.

Hello Ike,

I do like close-ups, which give such close details of the subject. We feel almost to be looking over his shoulder and sharing his art. In addition, we have a fine context for the work.
The sun looks strong, with deep shadows and highlights on the water, but you have controlled it well.

Hello Ike,

When I have to make a choice would I the second picture take.
But this is a personal choice.
I like this image with the quiet painter along the water nice made.
Color and presentation are pleasant for look at.

this is a lovely and very interesting picture with a good story. It's very well composed with the painter at the side, turned towards a view we can only see in his painting, through his own interpretation. Hey Ike,

A real life moment well captured, a local artist at work is a great subject and you caught him at a nice moment with the paint stroke. I always enjoy pictures of daily life, especially in different cities and cultures other than my own. Looks to be a great location on the harbor to soak up some sun and be creative. Lovely arrangement.
