In conjunction with the "Lahak" Company, MDA has started using an Intensive Care Unit Helicopter in the southern region of the country to transfer patients when needed* The helicopter is expected to shorten the time taken to attend to hikers in the southern region and in incidents where swift transfer from distant places is necessary


MDA has used an additional helicopter for Intensive Care service in the North of the country since 2007, in cooperation with the "Lahak" company, who employ the pilots and takes care of the routine maintenance. MDA offers senior, highly experienced paramedics who undergo special training for transporting patients by helicopter.
