Photographer’s Note

This is the fresh bread seller near The jaffa Gates in Old part of Jerusalem.

Today is a my special date. 3 years ago I have placed my first shot here. Thank you very much for your support, my friends.
I hope, I have learnt something in a current of this time...

Oh that bread, Serghei, I really like it to eat right know, but in Bangkok we have some difficulties to bake our own bread. Firstly you can buy decent bread and second we cannot get fresh yeast. In Malaysia at the other hand my wife Verena bakes twice a week each 2 loaf of wholewheat bread at 800 g each.

Your bread shot has a great DOF due to the women buying some of it. The colors are vibrant, sharpness is just fine. One more look at the bread, you make me hungry, but I just have eaten dinner. I like your pictures Well done

Hello Serghei. If I see the photo, I remember a beautiful narration of Kishom. He wanted to buy pastry and saw that the salesman (an Arab) had two heaps of pastry. The Arab wanted him a piece pastry of the left heap gives. But Kishom assumed, one wanted to sell old pastry to him. He required to get from the right heap pastry. The repetitive itself on each day. But Kishom experienced later that the Arab sold only fresh pastry...... The alive photo pleases me very well. Best regards, Wolfgang.
