Photographer’s Note
Mahane Yehuda, about a kilometer (0.6 mile) west of the Old City and close to the central bus station, is a huge outdoor covered market. It's always busy (except on Saturdays, of course), but on Friday afternoon it's especially jammed as people rush to buy food for the Friday evening meal, the start of Shabbat (Sabbath). In the WS is a shot of challah, the classic Shabbat bread.
Technical: In RAW, shift WB to florescent and adjust. Also sharpen.

I like this approach, Dan, with the strong diagonal coming from left, of the cart with bread, somehow complementing the lines up there in the roof. Light is good. I like the WS too, I'd certainly eat one of those. Regards, Daniel

Hello Dan,
I can't remember whether this covered market existed in the late 70s, when I took busses from the Central Bus Station. A very good image for genre 'slice of life' category. The bred, probably still warm, looks appetizing.
Warm regards,
Bulent
