[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a menorah set out for display in the old city. The caption reads:
"The Golden Menorah
This Menorah is fit to be kindled in the Holy Temple.
It was constructed according to comprehensive halachic research conducted by the Temple Institute, based on the writing of our sages of blessed memory and the work of Maimonides."
The Temple Institute has made several vessels for the yet to be built Holy Temple and are storing them until needed.
*interesting little side note; it was only a couple of weeks ago that a group from Ghana brought gold to this institute and donated it for the construction of more items.

I cropped the picture slightly, enchanced the color and added a border.

Yael,
This is a beautiful shot.
Back in December of 2006 we wanted to visit this place but it was late in the day and it was closed already.

Thanks for sharing.
Harry
