What is he defending of? Light? Your camera? You? Unusual expression with your interpretation (believer's extasy) that gives it a special unique value. Like a lot and save as my favorite!

It's not just the Iso1600 and the full frame sensor, resulting in low noise, that makes this shot. It's YOU! An amazingly strong photograph, that does deserve much much more attention!

Gilad...
Tell me... are you some kind of wizard? I looked many times at this photo, and I just can't understand how you achieved to take it. Tell me Gilad, what are the chances to be in a street with such dramatic lighting, having an old man passing by that will take such a striking posture? Look at his hands! Look at his hallucinated eye!!! Did you buy a lottery ticket that night? You must have done so!
You know, I am such a naive person. I believe what people say! I know, I should not. But still... But here, I have doubts! Don't worry, it is a good thing. You have help me a bit to be a normal person! :))
Anyway, that you had so much chance or not, I just can't help it. I like tremendously that photo!

Wow! I don't think there is much else to say. Please tell me he was preaching. It would fit the scene so well. Perhaps came from the wailing wall? It's like a scene from a movie. His eyes are mesmerizing.

Extraordinary image - a real masterpiece Gilad and perhaps my all time favourite of this year so far on TE - outtstanding impact, lighting, DOF and moment - perhaps I might argue a little with the contrast on a large print but it has achieved an awful lot of impact here!!!!!!

Amazing expression and lighting on those pale eyes.
I do not share the feeling with the note above the '****' but I guess the vision of this man at night in a street would have brought enough fear for not taking a picture.
