During a visit to Old Jerusalem, I happened upon this view of two children passing the afternoon watching the world go by outside of their window. They looked so innocent, so protected behind the fenced window, and it made me wonder what their future holds.
The feeling in this ancient walled city is indescribable, with so many images flashing through your mind as you walk around and try to imagine what life was like 2000+ years ago. |
