Dome of Gold
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Dome of the Rock, as I'm sure many people are aware of, is an Islamic shrine and a major landmark located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
It is said that the beautiful golden dome was created by surplus funds consisting of 100,000 gold dinar coins, which were melted down and cast on the dome's exterior. It was written that at the time of construction the dome had such a strong glitter that no eye could look straight at it.
Whilst some of its glitter may be gone nowadays, it is still a beautiful structure to set your eyes upon. |

Howdy Julian!
Amazing point of view. Very good composition. Excellent colors. Marvelous lightness. Very original picture.
Regards!
Hi Julian,
Congrats for taking such a sharp and well composed picture. Great colors and clarity. I can even see the Islamic words on the wall of the dome. The gold color contrasted very well with the blue skies. TFS.

Beautiful capture. The dome almost looks fake. Great composition - i really like the contrast of the rich gold dome against the natural beauty of the sky.
Great! You've a good skill in combinig the colors. The dome is still beautiful.
