Itīs view to roof of Dome of the Rock over the pillars with sundial (9:30am). The pillars is located between The Dome and mosque Al-Aqsa on Temple Mount.
(The Dome of the Rock was built by the Muslim ruler Abd el-Malik in 688-691. The building encloses a huge rock located at its center, from which, according to tradition, the Prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven at the end of his Night Journey. In the Jewish tradition this is the Foundation Stone, the symbolic foundation upon which the world was created, and the place of the Binding of Isaac. The structure is octagonal and the dome is borne by a double system of pillars and columns. The walls, ceiling, arches, and vaults are decorated with floral images.)

Nice shot Jiri. The colors are well used in this image, the composition is classical but effective. Nice job.

Great combination of golden tones and blue sky. You found very interesting angle to shoot the pillars repeats so nicely the shape of the roof.
I would crop a bit from the right to make the image more symmetrical.

a great shot, Jiri, and a very good note. The combination of pure gold and excellnt blue sky is a winner. I like the sunclock on the left pillar. I'll add to my "layers of history" theme. Well done.

Nice shot. I like the framing.
Perhaps if could crop from the left or right it might be better. I'll try a workshop and post it tomorrow.

Its beautifull, the blue sky makes a good combination with golden tomb and you also used the pillers as frame but i would prefer to corpped the space on other sides of the both pillers. I am posting a ws hope you will like.

The repetition of shapes is genious. I just wish the arch was a little sharper.

This place has a lot of memories for me. Very nice, if a little classical, framing. Thanks anyway.
