My Intro to Israel, Day 7, Scene 1
The Church of St Peter in Gallicantu commemorates the apostle Peter’s triple denial of his Master. Under the church is a dungeon thought to be the cell where Jesus was detained for the night following his arrest. The only access to the bottle-necked cell was through a shaft from above, so the prisoner would have been lowered and raised by means of a rope harness.
This view of the shaft was taken from the modern stairs leading down to the pit (see WS photo).

Good idea to take this point of view, original frame for this woman ;) Good exposure, perfect sharpness. I think your note could be useful for those who will come to Jerusalem.

You know Murat, tunnels and caves are delicate issue nowadays in Israel, but apperntly this is an old technique.
Good contrast with the lamp on the old carved walls, the lady stood in a perfcet place to show scale of the whole place. Light use is efficient here.
Another location I never been in Israel.
Have a nice weekend,

A wonderfully enlightening foreword supported by this challenging shot as far as lighting is concerned but it's seamlessly done - the lovely feel of being in 'cave' It's pleasantly detailed shot with strong eye clicker as the lady contributes into the scene as effective point of reference. Very good work indeed, Congrats. TFS.

Creative way to present the cave where light helps to see the texture, a rough one
The tourist add color and contrast
As always a very informative note about this not so known cave so full of history
