Amazing atmosphere on this photograph. The various colors are superb : The hot colors of the sky contrast and slice with the range of the ground.
the tree balances well the composition
The "vignettage" (sorry i don't found the translation ;) ) closes the image well

Whose poem is it? It's wonderful. Really. Beautiful.
As is the shot. The vignetting is great. Did you add it or was it there originally? Looking at your camera + lense, I think you added it, since that combi would normally give little vignetting... Well, maybe at f/3.2. I'm not sure.

You put a smile on my face with this shot. And it's a really big one. It already developed when seeing today's wonderful postings of Henk, George, JB, Yan and Eric. It's a great day here today!! :-D

I fell in love with the warm but moody colours as soon as I saw the thumbnail. The barren look of the land and the dry tree creates the dramatic atmosphere. I couldn't figure out those smoky parts on the corners; did you do something on the photoshop?

A beautiful mood shot in difficult lighting. The placing is simple and very effective. Unlike the others here, I did not like the vignetting, but that's just me.

Your poem goes nicely with it, too. Ha'im katavta otah b'ivrit?

What a beautiful picture. The dof is just perfect and the colors are amazing. I like the vigneting very much and it helps to make the picture even more interesting.
