[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Hebrew]
A landscape photographer getting ready for a shot (or maybe packing after one).
In the background are the Eyn-Gedi park, The dead sea and the Jordanian border.

The Dead Sea is both the lowest point on the Earth at 418 metres below sea level, and the deepest hypersaline lake in the world at 330 m deep and 799 m below sea level. It is also one of the saltiest bodies of water on Earth with a salinity of about 30%. This is about 8.6 times greater than the average ocean salinity. It measures 67 kilometres long, up to 18 kilometres wide, and is located on the border between the West Bank, Israel, and Jordan, and lies in the Jordan Rift Valley. The main tributary is the Jordan River.

This is a beautiful shot Doron! Kol Hakavod! I'll be there in a few weeks. It's one of the best places to free your mind and meditate on life!
Nice work with your exposure and sillouhette, just right!

Hi Doron,
Nice shot, very good composition, i like your photo..

A very nice photo, with a great contrast .
With such photo all i want is to be there. I can't wait for the next Pesah. While waiting for the time to pass i am enjoying Israel from photos such this one .
Regards!

Doron, j'aime cette composition avec en premier plan cette silhouette du photographe et du rocher. Le paysage du fond est très évocateur de la beauté du site. J'ai fait un WS pour améliorer le rendu du paysage.

2 years ago I took a picture standing on another side of Dead Sea :o) but my subject was a combination of the pool, sea and clouds;
this image is very interesting - some people may say 'too dark' but nonetheless the guy's silhouette and the overall composition is impressive - tfs, Tomasz
