The Dead Sea is the lowest place on Earth (elevation -400 m). And the saltiest lake as well. Salt crystals in many shapes, mirror surface, red mountains on the other side. A paradise for photographers.

Hi Yitzhak,

I like what you have done in taking this shot - the contrast of the rocks and the reflection in the water is beautiful.

I am wondering if the background is slightly washed out? Although this effect does put focus back on the foreground.
