TE Meeting Israel - 02/03/07

Seeing that fellow TE member Thorsten (Thor68) had decided to come over for a visit I thought it a good opportunity to get in touch with some Israel TE members and arrange a TE "get together" and "photoshoot".

Meeting spot = The new Tel Aviv port complex

Participants :

Agenda: Have a chat, discuss experiences and maybe get in some shots of the area.It is a new complex with a wooden boardwalk lined with restaurants and it was also the Purim holiday (people dress up in all kinds of costumes!)

From the reactions I received it seems that it was an enjoyable experience for all and we all agreed that we should try and get something going on a regular basis.......thanks to all that took part.

So if anyone is interested in joining a bi-monthly meeting to have some fun and get to know other guys and gals that have the "camera bug"....fell free to get in touch.

Here is a taste of that beautiful sea front and the members who took part are in the workshop.

Hello David -

Very nice! The use of the sea wall as a leading line was a good choice. Every time I glance at the picture the sea wall draws my eyes deep into the image. Exposure looks to be spot on. Well done!

Hi David,
Excellent framing with the angle of the boardwalk making a triangle with the coastline for the sea. I particularly like the way the whitewater on the waves seems to have an asnwering echo in those puffy clouds. As Daniel says, the light is magic!! How nice that the weather cooperated to give you these stunning skies for your meeting. I like the way you listed all the participants. Based on the list I'm guessing that great group of photos came from the meeting. HLJ, Pat

I like the linear perspective provided by the esplanade, with the bg tower on the vanishing point. A good decisive moment to catch the breaking surf. Good colour & sharpness. Tfs!

ocean waves are something I like to listen too and see them. The wall and the pathway are adding depth and also nice shadows.

Hi David,
There is an interesting and good perspective in this composition, thanks to a good POV and the diagonal of the boardwalk that takes the look to us towards the great chimney in background.
Good lighting, elegant shades, beautiful colors and an impressive sea with the foam of the waves, that combined with the splendid blue sky and the small clouds form an attractive and agreeable image at sight.

De la photo de qualité ici,
on voit rarement des couleurs et des lumières aussi parfaites et même si les conditions étaient des leilleures, il fallait encore bien les capturer.
