This was taken at Ganey Yehushua.
A beautiful day, after the rain. The sun was ideal for landscape shooting, and I had just the landscape for it.

This looks like a montage, well captures foto. Green grass with shadows, the extremely blue sky. The contrast is well increased. Looks unreal a bit. The lonely tree and the fallen leafs look good together. Good horizon.
A more detailed note would have been nice. What did you do to this picture? Were you just out there to take pictures? Why did this image capture you so you had to make a photo...

Excellent shot! I like the very low point of view, which gives this a lot of interest in the foreground and a nice near/far contrast. The colour is very vivid and intense, and I like the positioning of the tree on the side. Well done!

The PoV you use is superb (placing camera on grass?) which gives great sense of depth. The sky's the best bit in this pic and the tree contrasts it well. Great thx for posting , i enjoy it very much :)

Really cool almost surreal shot. I would like to see a little more of the close-up leaves in focus, I think, but I can't criticise anything more.
Out of interest, did you apply any lens correction to this shot, or is it straight from the camera (plus other tweaks, of course ;)?

Stunning shot - brilliant lighting and I really like the low angle you've chosen and the long DOF.

It's one-of-those-photos that rocks! Great composition, superb sky!

Hi Gilad - excellent POV and colours. The composition is also very pleasant and I love how well the clouds are defined against that deep blue sky.

What a shot... I almost feel I am taken up by the wind, up to the tree, to the sky... so beautiful...
wonderful treatment, and exquisite exposure.
I would also try this out in sepia, it might give a totally different feel, but still an interesting one.

Very nice POV giving a good foreground to show the tree in a different way.
Xalkida (11744) 2006-01-21 18:30
Very nice and interesting mixture of colors: brown for the earth, green for the trees, blue for the sky and white for the clouds! Everything is here in a packet of one! :)

Yeah, very good shot. I particularly like the effect of the leaves.

A great landscape, Gilad! Nicely captured, with the low POV! I wonder how a f16 version would look like (you took one)? Too much details to compete with the tree and the skies??
Good positioning of the tree 1/5 of the right frame..Is it the lens UWA effect that made the skies darker coz I see you didn´t use any polarizer..
In any case, lovely shot!
