Tel-Aviv skyline view towards the south from the old port, as rough sea waves pounding upon the pier.

Location on the pier: 32.0989, 34.773
16:9 asperct ratio, RAW converted into JPEG.
I deliberatly left the top of the pier on lower part, to enhance scale & depth.

We see a lot wind in the waves, this gives a very spectacular image in foreground.
Nice sight on the city in background.

Hi Ike,

The distance between the pier and the opposite shore is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the strong waves. The morning light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

A great velocity in the waves causing them to pound the cement barrier. Behind that, I see the port and the skyline. Nice to see people enjoying . The colors are very nice and natural. Well composed image with sharpness.

Good Morning Ike,

Oh, such power!
The still shot appears to have movement!
The movement comes from spray breaking over the wall in the f/g, lashing against the walls to the left and waves rolling in from the right; there is movement everywhere!
You were right in your decision, that textured f/g wall anchors the shot for depth and makes a fine contrast with the very blue scene beyond.

Hello dear Ike

It's so unusual seeing the sea and built up areas of the city so close together. The punding waves make an impressive contrast to the stillness of the city. Excellent control of the shutter to freeze the waves, accentuating their power. Good colours despite the strong light conditions too.

Thanks for including the concrete barricade, I feel more sheltered from the raging waves and it composes with the cityline appealing parallels and of course, more depth to your setup.
The only city I know in Israel is Tel-Aviv and this is due to your elaborate gallerie.
