Amazing shot, Elroyie. It really looks like here he just spotted his prey and prepares to make the dive to catch it. Outstanding sharpness on the body, and very good dynamic element from the motion blur on the wings (the fact the wings look like this at 1/800 really tells something about the speed of those guys, I guess). Excellent catch against the almost neutral background, very good work.

Very nicley isolated from its suroundings, with enough movement in the wings to surrgest the effort being made to stay in the one spot.

Very nice capture. Good crispness. You froze him in time here. But still have a bit of blur at the edges for a good sense of the speed and motion of the wings. Good contrast, too. It really stands out against the simple sky. And it's well placed in the frame. Let's me imagine what is below him even if I know it's a fish in the water. Very good capture.
