You can't see much – but that's the whole point:
When a siren goes –off like we had last night, Saturday at 20:15 local time, one can't see where the rocket is about to hit.
Only the Iron-Dome battery radar-system can detect and had successfully launched this two "Tamir" anti-rockets missiles, seconds before destroyed an incoming Fajr rocket fired from Gaza over the direction of the greater Tel-Aviv area.
A life saving and a pure defensive weapon.
Two pictures combined on yet another decisive moment on the 47th day of the war nowadays in Israel.
A Wikipedia page about the Iron-Dome system.
*** Only a person who never had the physical-feel (and fear) of such event, can bluntly call this as a "propoganda" picture. Sorry for showing a picture of real life in our world.

Hello Dear Ike,
Excellent, very much efficiently you captured the anti-rockets missile which was guided by Iron-Dome Battery radar system. This is really tough job to shoot a small light source in the dark night which was very far from camera. Good idea.
An well executed work.
with warm regards and thanks for sharing,

I cannot imagine how frightening it must be to hear first the siren and then to witness the subject matter of these two images. All I can say is I just hope some sort of resolution can be found in these desperate times in the troubled history of your homeland. Violence is never the answer and I do hope you and your fellow countrymen can stay as safe as possible. All the very best Ike.

These combination look so good for 3200 iso hand held at fast shutter, You've captured the the sequense superbly both sharply focused with good definition in pitch dark night sky with the right amount of exposure. I am surprised at the amount of detail by the 'two dots' when enlarged at 250 percent they are neatly visible without blotchiness!! Great quality efficiently captured and Stay Safe Always Ike, thank for sharing.

You once criticised me for not commenting on your war photos. Here is my critique:
You should not be posting this upsetting type of propaganda here. The proper thing to do would be for you to delete this photo and your other 2 war photos.
I come to TE to get away from this type of material. TE should be a safe-haven from war, religious and political conflict. You are destroying that for me and are the reason for my long absence from this site. I felt sick when I read your note and saw your photo.
The meagre points your photo has amassed should tell you three things: firstly that the people of TE do not want to be involved in this type of controversy. Secondly that TE is not the place for this type of insulting, inflammatory, political propaganda. Finally thirdly, there are many of us who do not support genocide, no matter how it is dressed up.

Well, maybe not much is visible, but to those that have eyes to see, this is more than enough. The Middle East is looking more frightening these days. Will sanity ever prevail?

Interesantan tekst o raketama i trenutku ...
Dobar trenutak snimka, lepo pokazane rakete u letu.
Rat je veliko zlo, neka sto pre dodje mir.
Imajte miran dan, sve najbolje, srecno.
An interesting article about rockets and time ...
A good moment shot, nicely demonstrated rockets in flight.
War is a great evil, some as soon as peace comes.
Keep calm day, all the best, good luck.

this scene is hard to understand, both the dots and the darkness are scary, this is an image of fear. But this system works and keeps you safe and I hope it always does. However, the images of fear and destruction we see from the other side, where defense isn't effective and the targets are so shocking, are very painful and haunting. Greece is a country that has been involved in many wars, even civil ones. War brings so much pain and loss, it should be avoided by all means, in my opinion. Your image is stressful, it evokes how you feel every night but in this black sky I also see the painful pictures from the other side that appear in the news every day. Thank you for showing us how you experience these days of horror.
All the best, take care,
adramad (42015) 2014-08-25 7:37
One type of photos that produces sadness, lack of understanding of men think that dots like those carried destruction and death, is very unfortunate at this time .... magnifies your speed to catch it.
Have a good start to the week.
All the best.

Great image!!! Thanks for showing the world that your people live in a dangerous area; you have the right to defend yourselves. ISRAEL IS THE MOST PEACE LOVING COUNTRY OF THE WORLD. Israel is surrounded by wolves that need taming.

Skillfully taken. Thank you for sharing these things with us. This is a somewhat different type of coverage in addition to what the news show.
Take care of yourself
