Imitating..., a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

On the same "Purim" street carnival, this young model was constantly trying to imitate the pose like painted on the sign, on BG wall's.
The sign reads in Hebrew: "Llalenya, cloths-gallery".
This taken me several shots to achieve the moment you see here...
A 16:9 aspect ratio, cropped upper part by just a bit.

Très joli panoramique pris devant cette boutique de vêtements. Peut-être un peu difficile d'imiter la femme sur l'enseigne car elle est très jolie. Belle présentation et merveilleuses couleurs.

Hi Ike,
I wonder how many hours stay still, they have to do endless hours coaching. It would be great if the composition capture make the same move that the girl makes in the sign. Joyful composition.

The presence of the people is showing a daily activity. The point of view is showing the action of the model. The morning light is making the colors to stand out.

Hello Ike,

Once we understand about the imitation, the photograph takes on a new significance. Yes, I can see it! The positioning is good, especially as I would presume the imitator is on a float. You have achieved a good balance between the two and created a nice diagonal movement between them.

The woman as model shows an excellent impresion.

the angel and paper doll of poster.
I'm quite surprised of reading "SALE" in showcase instead of the Hebrew traduction.
Sunshine enhances the colors for a convincing festive mood.

I like as always the presence of the text in a foreign (to me) alphabet this adds so much exotic feeling. Personally I think that taking more of the people in the street could make it even more interesting but of course I don't know what was going on there ::

Even with a motionless person as the main focus point, there's a lot going on here Ike! It all works in harmony though and has some solid character appeal. The side by side comparison of this woman and the drawn figure from the signage is quite an interesting display, almost feels like a stare down! :) The liveliness of the streets is felt with the people in passing, as well as the bright and colorful shops as it's been framed for maximum effect.
