This is what called a decisive-moment: I had a day off Monday, and I took a stroll in my town with the camera along. Coming to a main road I heard unusual tumult and saw this craned-truck on it's side. Probably lost ballance while extracting the crane too long, in order to trim tree's-foliage.
Major traffic jam happened. I have no idea about injured personnel.

(Ike Harel. Special for the Trekearth from Tel Aviv)
Good reportage photo. I think, this is typical error of an operator, when the machine works without the legs, therefore it lost balance... Sad story, this man can lost his job and a lot of money.
clic (16074) 2012-01-10 12:08
Sad report, indeed.
Lot of "horse-power" lost forever...horses lie on thier side only when they are sick or dying!

A unique photo shows an unfortunate accident, it is best that this event did not produce victims.
Good little reportage document seen by TE.

The trees are framing well the truck. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the truck on its side. The late morning light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Ciao dear Ike,
I hope that no have been problems with people! The truck was really unlucky, but you have had the opportunity to capture a inedited and original photo. It's always useful to leave the house with the camera, this image shows it well! Congratulations!
Ciao, have a nice Thursday!

Hello dear Ike
Yes, a definite decisive moment, I truly hope that no one was hurt and am glad to hear that no other vehicle was involved, the truck merely unbalanced. Good quick reaction in a short period of time. Thanks for sharing and I wish you a beautiful day.
jmdias (58974) 2012-02-16 15:49
a nice reportage about the accident and the truck. good details.
mcmtanyel (16685) 2014-03-19 20:53
Great journalistic photo. The colors and shapes in the thumbnail are pleasant, too. However, when one sees the detail in the full size photo, a sense of sympathy takes over.
PS. Taking photos at Israeli airports is the least of my worries today. Being a Turkish citizen, I need a visa to enter Israel. I just found out that all Israeli consulates are on strike! Will you please tell your friends in the diplomatic corps to hurry up and bury the hatchet before I am scheduled to travel? Consulates on strike, whoever heard of that?
