1969 Ford Thunderbird.
Just over 49 thousand made in Wixom, Michigan planet, 7 liter / 360-horsepower V-8 engine, some 4m approx. length…
It was parked on a downhill narrow street under a shaded area, difficult POV 's to show it's beauty.
In the 2 WS's a with profile and slightly higher POV.
RAW converted to JPEG, 16:9 aspect ratio, cropped from lower part and sides, also enhanced saturation.

A good capture of this classic car. The lighting was not easy as not evidenced by the highlighted reflections on the window and paintwork. Nevertheless, you have been reasonably successful. It no doubt uses large amounts of gas, but what the heck!

A superb image of this splendid car, a relic all hard to find, beautiful picture with this attractive red color that stands out even more with the beautiful green background plants.
Wonderful selection seen from other angles that show us in the WS, the image has a very good sharpness, with a nice tone of colors and good brightness.

Great style. The position and lighting makes it shine, as it is supposed to be with those cars. Good contrast with the tree. I'd like to go for a ride, the noise must be wonderful and classic. Good work, congratulations!

Hello dear Ike
What a beautiful classic old car. I love the cherry red colour and excellent perspective. I'm sure our friend John (tyro) who is an old car collector, would most appreciate this photo. Great shot.
Have a happy day

An iconic car from the Sixties..!
And this specimen seems to have survived the years so well, shiny and apparently in perfect order...
Fine point of view to show the details, I'm only missing the proud owner hahaha!

A BIG country and BIG cars, welcome to the world of American automobiles. I do know well how terrifyingly large these cars can be. But Please don’t ask me how I know this. : )
This is a kind of car, which requires an additional ground crew to guide you when you try to park your car as passenger jets are guided at the airport on runway. Presented view shows well the nature of this type of cars. I also like the colour, a nice shot!!
With my very best wishes,
Have a very nice Friday, Ike

Thanks for your kind words Ike
Those were the good old days when a guy could full up for 20 dollars and ride all weekend-long at least five girls inside, before the damned bucket seat era!!
And by then car didn't look as designed for saving money, as they do nowadays!
This shiny "lady in red" appears magnificent and triggers nostalgia!

Très jolie voiture, on la trouvait belle dans le temps et elle l'est encore et bien conservée. Excellent éclairage pour nous la montrer devant ce paysage de verdure. Les couleurs brillantes sont superbes.

a most attractive car, a style that's very rarely seen for real. Your capture and presentation are excellent. The angle of capture and the panoramic frame enhance the impact of its dynamic design, delicious colours and lucid textures. (I like very much the second workshop picture too.) Marvellous sharpness and lighting enhance our fascination. It's amazing to see how this fabulous car is glowing in the shady street. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

I love photos of cars, so I like this one, too. It looks like the reflections of light presented a challenge to your camera, but it performed adequately.
marina7 (8055) 2014-04-02 11:47
just couldn't pass it by:)You know red and green is not my favorite color combo but here it looks terrific! Extremely eye-catching, especially with that light reflecting from the car body and its chrome parts...
Miguel82 (23367) 2014-12-26 11:37
That dinosaur carbody is perfectly maintained Ike, it's a cabriolet version, without an inspection it's quite impossible to know if the engine is in good condition
