Very good shot of this bulbul well collected in its vegetal framing. Details, attitude and colors of the bird very well collected. I like too the very graphic vegetation in the BG.

Hello Ike, Great bird picture and a specie that I have never heard of. The one with the yellow aporn must be very colorful. Nice job to get this close to the bird where the viewer can see it so well. I like bird pictures but I find that I need a fairly long telephoto lens to get what I want. Have a good week. Regards, Roger

Good morning Ike!
This is a very interesting post with a good capture of a bird unknown to our non-Mediderranean countries!
Moreover, it's standing on a tree which I didn't know of either! I have looked in Wikipedia and learnt what a useful tree it is: How the fruit can be used in many ways, and how the trees can stand drought very well.
I am sure the bird is going to pick at the fruit and try to get some of the sugary syrup from it!
A great close-up shot!
TFS and have a good weekend!

The leaaves and the fruits are freaming well the bird. the point of view is showing with precision the details and colors of the budbul. The light is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

I have just spotted this lovely bird photo in your gallery. I have never seen anything like it. But quite honestly I never paid too much attention to birds before moving into the house I live in now. We are surrounded by a park and there are so many bird species coming here. Obviously your photo presents a very different climate and different bird species.
Thanks for sharing it!

Is this a nightingale? In Turkish, a nightingale is called a bülbül, I wonder if this is the same species.
