A very nice selection of images from israel in your recent posts.I agree with you that the contrasts and shadows in this one are very nice.I also like the basic sandy colours.
Simple but very attrative and with an angle that makes the steps go on for ever.TFS.

fine look on the material and perspective too. There is something with stairs and the power beyond, while you can imaging that He would be able to move without a thing as walking.

Really adapted the title that you have given to your photo: it is a stairs that leads us directly to the sky.
Good framing with this perspective and good exposure, which gives you a good balance between light and shades.
The definition and the colors are also very good.

A good POV of the stairs, the way the photo was taken, it is giving the impression that you are reaching the sky at the end of the stairs well done. The photo has nice colors.

I've missed some of your Genesis series, but have just caught up now. You should put them in a theme; it's a very unique idea.
Apt photo too for the 7th day as the stairs certainly seem to go all the way to Heaven. Nice shadow details from the side lighting.

At least the end is open since the fall of the story leads directly to heaven, the best possible destination. Nice idea about this heaven bound stairway.

Hi Daniel,

I did not want to let this one pass because I liked the image even on the thumbnail. I like how you managed contrast and sharpness, and the exposure in general.

As a side note, eons ago, I used to play bass and had a rock group (absolutely amateurs), and we used to play a cover of Starway to Heaven!
