[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Fill the earth and subdue it!" God said to man, just after creating him on the sixth day.

Basically, God was delegating. For God told man to control and manage the earth, just as God created the stars and the sun to manage the universe, on the fourth day.

We do what are told. So man obeyed. And man is still filling the earth.

This is the "Sea and Sun" apartment complex, built in the early 90s.

For this shot I'm standing on the beach. So the sea (the Mediterranean) and the sun are just behind me.

Hi Daniel,
the blue gap in between the buildings showing the empire state building is very surprising,
thanks and regards, Gerrit

Hi Daniel,

A good POV of these appartement buildings, the photo has nice colors and a good perspective. It is sharp and clear.

Pierre

Niec point of view. Interesting modern building on the top of sand and stones. I like how the colors contrast with the beautiful blue of the sky. Regards, Yvonne

Hello Daniel!
It's very interesting architecture and great done composition and frame!
I like your work!
Regards!

Hi Daniel,
The stairs that raise from the beach towards the apartments upwards create a good perspective in this plane. The details of stones in foreground, and of the sky with both buildings in background they are very well resolute, with great sharpness. Great balance between the light and the shades.
On these buildings, they correspond to a type of "tourist architecture" that I do not like, and in Spain we also have much of her.
But the photo is very good.
Regards, my friend,
Josep

Hi Daniel,
Nice capture of this complex.
Perfect POv and simetry.
The colours and light are also good.
Regards
Teresa

I did not believe at first that you were continuing your Genesis serie before reading your note. But not a bad choice in choosing these buildings since they are (probably not these particular ones) one of the human constructions that last the longuer and thus try to rival the creations of Nature.

All the best,

Emmanuel

daniel,
good pov to give us the feeling of vastness of this complex. good color and detail, your use of light is brilliant here.

Hi Daniel,
You've captured excellent light and color in your well-framed compo, I like the symmetry of the buildings divided by the stairs. The detail is good through-out which is interesting with your relatively wide aperture. However, the real star of this presentation for me is your comment, "and man is still filling the earth!!"
Regards, Pat

Hello Daniel
Wow, beautiful buildings. Excellent capture with perfect symmetry. I like it.

Hi Daniel
I like the symmetry in the buildings & as Gerrit stated the Empire State Building like gap in the centre. But to be honest I'm not too sure about the stones & soil in the FG..photographically at least. But when I see the picture in context of your note, these are relevant. So it's a toss up really..
Good series you're making here & for me certainly educational

Angshu

Hi Daniel,

The composition and POV are great and give the photo a very attractive grphical interest.

The exposure is very good too, and the light simply beautiful,

Well done!

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Daniel - the placement of the steps is perfect, wonderful light and symmetry, the buildings, while not attractive, are at least distinctive in style.
