Photographer's Note

20 years ago, this sight would not be possible: Only after the Israeli-Jordan peace treaty was signed, Royal-Jordanian airplanes landing and flying across Israel's 100 km width aloft. There is a designated air-route from Aman via above Israel and out to the Mediteranean, en-route Europe, that saves time and money - unless, a big detour would be needed.

Royal-Jordanian Airbus A310-304 cargo, registration: JY-AGR, two GE CF6 engines, in service since 1988.
On final landing-path at Ben-Gurion airport runway 12.
