Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken on the border between Israel and Egypt, the road that you see is in Israel, it is a very old road and very narrow one.
I took this photo in a place that called Kadesh Barne'a view, it is high point in this place that you can view large area from it.
If you can see it looks like this road continues to nowhere, the end of this road is a 'Ma'avar Nizana' Ma'avar meens passage in hebrew, this place is a non active pass point between egypt and Israel.
Hope you will like it.

Yoir wide angle lens captured a lot of curves here. Using one in the foreground, I find this picture very well-composed. I like it. Simple yet sweeping!

I definitely like this. The only two things that bother me are
1.)the starting point of the road on the left side of the frame. But I don't have any better suggestion
2.) the overexposed sky on the top left, but it's a minor issue here, IMO

Great landscape. It remembers me the road to Passo Stelvio (in the district of Sondrio, Lombardia, Italy)famous also because towards this incredible road often passes Giro d'Italia (national bike race) see this road here:

Kadesh Barnea is nearly 5000 years old, if it is the same, which I doubt, but the name, it lingers, together with the history!
Now these are spectacular s-curves, Shumi eat your heart out! Nice post!!!

A very unique landscape, Elroyie, and a shot in which your wide angle not only allows to appreciate great detail of the hills and valleys, but also the road curving through the scenery creates an additional graphical impact. The colors and contrast are well rendered, too. Good capture, thanks for sharing! If you were as fond of finding song titles for your photos as I am, "The long and winding road" would come to mind for this one ;-)

Belle image bravo Elroyie

So you like the desert too, Elroyie. I was searching for this kind of shot during my drive to Eilat through Mizpe Ramon, but it looks like I took the wrong road. I love these warm colos and the curved road. Teh Negev desert looks so wild, excellent shot, I like it very much.

Thanks for showing me this picture. It does remind me of my own. I would crop the sky to almost nothing, leave only enough to show there is a horizon. It will put emphasis on the road and eliminate the distracting brightness, which makes one squint to look at the picture.
