Photographer’s Note
Israeli border controls are for many reasons one of the most strict and most thorough in the world. During the interrogation you are asked a series of questions by the border guard. Some of the questions are repeated once more since the officer wants to make sure you are giving the same answer. This border guard at the Yitzhak Rabin Border Terminal in Eilat was very kind. I was permitted to take a few pictures of the border environment as well as surrounding minefields. What she didn't know was that I made one picture of her.
