Photographer’s Note
It looks like tourist promotion, but this is how Israel (Southern town of Eilat) looks in mid winter. this was taken on Dec. 13, early morning, outside temprature is around 20 C., and will go higher at noon, water temp. around 20 too, so is perfect for enjoying summer in winter. Jerusalem, 300 Km. to the north may have 10 C. or less and further north, another 300 km. one can have excellent skiing conditions at mount Hermon.

You are wrong about the condition in Eilat and in Israel in mid-December.
The water temperature of the Red sea is about 23-24 celsius degrees in mid-December, and not 20 only - where the water temperature of the mediterrannean is 20 celsius on that time, which is very pleasent for bathing too.
mid-December is warm in all of the country, not in Eilat and the south only.
There was no skiing condition yet in Mount Hermon in that time, mid-December. The skiing season in mount Hemon starts during January only, and there are years when during February only - but never starts in mid-December - This time is still very early for having large amount of snow in Mount Hermon.
