Photographer’s Note

This is the view from my hotel room. 5th floor of one of the many nice hotels in Eilat.
Since I like night shots I plan to buy ND filters and try some more. This one was taken without a tripod or any filter.

Vibrant picture, although restrained by the slate colors in the sky and water, which I really like. I also like the bright lights on the shore. In this case, I wish there had been more light on the palms in the foreground.

I like the shot, maybe it could have been a tiny bit darker. One might be tempted to crop the right hand wall, but I think keeping it was the correct choice.

Yes - I agree - what a view, lovely play with colours and light - I like the fine reflections of the sky in the water - thanks Efi - You got many fine photos in your portefoil.

Wow, excellent choice of hotel, Efi ;-) This is my favorite time of day to do night shooting, as the atmosphere and the presence of details when it is not completely dark yet can really yield rewarding photos - like yours. Good exposure you made for the variety of lights, and the rippled surface of the ocean is well rendered too. Fun cloud patterns in the sky. Very nice one.

Very nice photo Efi, wonderful light and colors, the point of view is quite nice. Maybe a few steps to the left would have been better, avoiding the wall on the right, if possible, anyway it is minor, nice landscape.
