Photographer’s Note
A crane and it's shadow in a construction site of a new concerts hall In Ashdod.
I did not de-saturate the background, all colors are natural.

A good clean graphic, the compositon has a lot of life in it.
The cladding of the building makes a set of lines that almost looks like they are raining or sweeping across the frame, they make a curved wavy surface that acts as a counterpoint to the skinny line of the crane and its shadows. The wire curving down from the crane helps in binding the two different elements together as it reflects the curve of the shadow in the upper left corner.

Harsh yellow there, nice. Funny about the stripes, can't figure out in which direction the wall is curving, if curving at all. Would be boring without the top-left shadow..

sorry, but I can´t agree with the other members. The subject is not very interesting and it seems not that sharp. It´s more a try from an abstract angle ....

Well, I enjoy it, Itzik - it goes back to your classical "industrial" subjects, and to seeing things most people wouldn't see, let alone take a photo of them. Very judicious framing with the crane, its shadow and the non-intrusive geometry of the wall in the back.

Contrasting patterns--I learn so much from you, Yitzhak! Very nice composition and use of texture and shadow, too!

Coming back to the roots of grahpicals, good noticed that shadow of the crane to that diagonal textured backgound, good composition.

Hi Yitzhak,
Beautiful, graphical scene. I understand why you notice that the picture isn't de-saturate, for their are so few colours in the picture. I think that a second colour should have made the picture even more striking.

Great industrial image Yitzhak. The “rust”-orange in contrast with the “BW” background make a very appealing set of tones. Also the amount of geometrical shapes almost all in diagonal positions add dynamic to the photo and balance the roughness of the image. One of your best industrial images.

A very creative shot, Yitzhak. I like the fact that the 'shadow' crane has as much detail in it as the real one. Interesting background - with a nice texture and shadowy area. Very well seen.

Hello Ytzhak,
One day you will explain to me the way you go out on the streets and look for subjects. When I look at your pictures I am always under the impression that I am half blind.
Another striking one this crane !

I missed quite a lot of your photographs, Yitzhak. Nice composition here with beautiful textures and a wonderful framing of the elements. As in many of your photographs, I like the graphic abstract quality. Great job.
