Harvest time Photo

Photographer’s Note

I think that some of you remember the field from one of my previous posting Mission .
This one was taken in the same place, but from the opposite side. I have no explanation for the weed that grown on and around the trees since then.
I promised to show you the same place when everything turns to yellow, but I went there today, a bit too early.
Actually it was a bit too late, This wheat field was harvested a few minutes ago, and I could only see the leaving combine far in the horizon (I'll post some photos of it later on).

Nice pic with perfect composition, as usual :-), Yitzhak. I like the way how colors on the field are changing. The frame is in a great contrast with the picture.

Is that a tilt, or is it a slight slope? Anway, a nicely realised landscape, making good use of the lines, and with a characteristic industrial looking building in the background.

Hi Yitzhak,
Spring has here but beginning, in Israel is the first harvest of hay has already started. Very nice depth and nice perspective because the lines of hay on the hill.

C'est dans cette région que vit mon meilleur ami d'enfance.
La composition est très intéressante avec ces larges sillons dorés qui laissent prévoir un été rude.

Hi Yitzhak, I'm behind, because I actually wanted to comment on your glas insolators as well as on the cabin, because they are all so nice.
But first this one, a very nice PoV, and the lines of weed give a lot of depth to the picture.
I see something strange aorund the trees. Some extra sharpening?

Bonjour Yitzhak,
On fait déjà les foins dans ton pays ? Ici, c'est à peine le démarrage du printemps.
C'est vrai que tu es passé légèrement en retard pour ta prise de vue, l'herbe a séché et a perdu sa coloration vive. J'apprécie cette composition simple au demeurant.

Hi Yitzhak

There is some bleeding around the poplar trees, from using too high a 'dust & scratches' setting. I sometimes do the sky in 3 parts. Gaussian blur of 9 with a border of say 1/2 an inch. Then dust & scratches with border of 1/4 inch with feather of 2-5 pixels, then another d&s with no border for the fine detail on the last 1/4 inch, racking up the size for accuracy. I may try a ws. Superb composition & perspective, though. Well done!
